ANTHC worked with Lifewater Engineering to develop an innovative wastewater system that doesn’t require pipes.  The toilet separates solid and liquid waste, sending liquids into a holding tank under the toilet and storing solids in a chamber inside the toilet. Once the tank is full, liquids are purged outside into an underground leach field. Solid waste is dried into cake form by a fan inside the toilet and can be easily dumped or burned in the stove. A continuous fan takes care of moisture and odor.
